She's the easy going, fun loving spirit that always smells like vanilla. Chef Kimberly "Kimihou" Bryant is a native of Atlanta. She prides herself in rue to her southern roots with some added flair, a true Southern Belle.
Chef Kimberly graduated with honors from Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Institute in 2013 and quickly gained notoriety around the Atlanta metro area, serving celebrities, local charities, and a host of wonderful customers.
For many years this company was known as The Adonai Cookie Shoppe which quickly sparked dozens of new opportunities for Kimberly. After delivering a life-sized turn table cake for Q Parker and RL, Chef Kimihou began designing cakes and cookies for more celebrities including Harry Douglas of the NFL Tennessee Titans; Angel McCoughtry of the WNBA Atlanta Dream; philanthropist Warrick Dunn, retired from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers; Nikki Gilbert of Brownston/R&B Divas; Kenya Moore of Real Housewives of Atlanta and Celebrity Apprentice; R&B icons Brian McKnight and Avery Sunshine; and gospel singers William Murphy and Tasha Cobbs.
January 2020, Chef Kimberly made the decision to legally change the name to The Cookie Emporium LLC to full grow the brand into the vision she has held so dear.
Chef Kimihou has a passion for baking and loves to make a client’s vision come to life through edible treats. She once said, “every order is my opportunity to create a memorable experience during a memorable occasion for someone else. I live for those moments and truly love artful expressions through desserts.”
The entire team at the Cookie Emporium believes in the company's mission to bring opportunities to explore the sweets industry to lower-income families. Through diligent work with the Junior League of Atlanta, our CEO and Founder. Chef Kimberly Houston-Bryant is the co-chair of the Kids in the Kitchen placement as well as does monthly in-person or virtual cooking classes with survivors of sex trafficking.
